Jim Corbett National Park is one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Park is extended in the Himalayan foothill. The park has been named after Jim Corbett, a legendary hunter-turned environmentalist. Jim Corbett National Park is the first wildlife reserve of India and was established in 1936. The park is first wildlife reserve to get announced as tiger reserve. The National Park has a total area of 1318 sq km and a core area of 520 sq km. Corbett contains over 150 tigers, 580 different species of birds, 110 species of trees, and 33 species of wild cats.. Corbett National Park famous for its exotic landscape and its large herds of wild Asian elephants.
